Vorstand im Amt bestätigt
Die jährliche Jahreshauptversammlung des Städtepartnerschaftsvereins Landshut – Elgin e. V. fand am 31.03.2023 im Gasthaus „Zur Krax’n“ in Ergolding statt. Bei den turnusgemäßen Wahlen wurden der gesamte Vorstand und die beiden Kassenprüferinnen im Amt bestätigt.
Nach der Begrüßung und dem Gedenken an die verstorbenen Mitglieder durch die 1. Vorsitzende Ute Lindtner folgte der Rechenschaftsbericht für das vergangene Jahr. In diesem wurde hervorgehobenen, wie schön es sei, nach all den Unwägbarkeiten der Corona Zeit wieder Normalität in das Vereinsleben gebracht zu haben. Es fanden wieder alle üblichen Aktivitäten wie Stammtische, das Sommerfest und die Jahresabschlussfeier mit reger Beteiligung statt. Im September besuchte eine siebenköpfige Reisegruppe die Partnerstadt Elgin.
Nach den Berichten der Schatzmeisterin, der Kassenprüferinnen und der Entlastung des Vorstandes folgte die Neuwahl des Vorstandsgremiums. Da alle Vorstandsmitglieder sich wieder zur Wahl stellten, ging die selbige, bei der Philipp Leitl als Wahlleiter fungierte, sehr schnell vonstatten.
Es wurden im Amt bestätigt: die 1. Vorsitzende Ute Lindtner, die 2. Vorsitzende Astrid Bumberger, als Schriftführerin Ina Theobald, als Schatzmeisterin Corinna Kurzai und die Beisitzerinnen Michaela Steffens und Christa Lypp. Außerdem wurden als Kassenprüferinnen Simone Jackermeier und Heike Lindtner wiedergewählt.
Nach der Wahl folgte ein kurzer Ausblick sowohl auf den Besuch der Schotten zur Landshuter Hochzeit, als auch auf den Schüleraustausch der Elgin Academy mit dem Hans-Leinberger Gymnasium in diesem Kalenderjahr.
